You are visiting one of the many ways that Stout Memorial United Methodist Church “reaches out” to the community around us.  A few years ago, as our community of faith attempted to come up with a statement that summed up what we were about as a congregation, one of our many Spirit inspired lay members suggested that we say our community of faith is “Building Up, Reaching Out and Growing Together.”  These three sets of words have directed us in our mission and ministry and even have brought us to the place that we are offering this website.

Take time to look around – find out more about the congregation that worships at 3329 Broad Street – and be sure and pass along any questions that you have for us.  If we don’t see you in worship, we certainly hope that we will meet you someplace in the wider arena of Jesus’ Kingdom.  It is our hope and prayer that we would extend God’s welcome to you wherever we are!
