The staff of Stout Memorial has been working diligently to bring our Sunday morning worship to our congregation while they are unable to gather in the church building. We have developed several methods for our congregants to partake in the worship service.
During this time of separation, we have come up with a few ways for you to continue to support the church through your gifts and pledges. Listed below are some ways you can continue to give:
Stacy and Pastor Cindy will be Live on Facebook @ 10 am for “Soul Reset” Lenten Study. Facebook.com/stoutmemorialumc; Even if you don’t currently have a facebook account, you can go to link and watch. Please expand your 8am & 8pm prayer to include the community, our world, as well as our church. The Church is open for prayer, if you would like to come and pray please feel free to do so. We have plenty of space to spread out and be safe. If you have a key, come in and pray. If you would like a key, contact Cindy or Stacy. Cindy and Stacy are in the office from 8:30 to noon, afternoon times vary.
When it’s hard for the church to come together in worship and fellowship with God and each other, it becomes very easy for us to become discouraged or feel cut off. But, in today’s world, with all of the technology we have available, the church can continue to thrive. Our church offers a powerful resource that some of you may not have begun utilizing, Rightnow Media. Rightnow Media offers hundreds of bible study resources for adults, children, couples, college students, and everyone in between. All you have to do is sign up through our website at stoutmemorial.org/growthopportunities, it’s free. Facebook has many ways for the small groups and Sunday school classes to stay connected with each other.
There are many possibilities for the church to remain connected and thrive in these times of separation. We don’t have to be in the same room, the same building, or even the same state to remain connected to God and each other, we just have to keep an open mind and an open heart and God will always find a way to fill each of us with his Holy Spirit.
Ways to Continue Your GivingPost from Mar. 16, 2020 We have been getting questions about how to get your offerings to the church. The bills do still have to be paid and we truly appreciate your concern.
Church Office HoursPost from Mar. 15, 2020 This week (Mar. 15- Mar. 21) the church office will be close to the public. The Ministry Staff, Pastor Cindy and Stacy Hoover, will be in the office.
