Staying Connected

3/17/2020

Comments

When it’s hard for the church to come together in worship and fellowship with God and each other, it becomes very easy for us to become discouraged or feel cut off.  But, in today’s world, with all of the technology we have available, the church can continue to thrive.
Our church offers a powerful resource that some of you may not have begun utilizing, Rightnow Media.  Rightnow Media offers hundreds of bible study resources for adults, children, couples, college students, and everyone in between.  All you have to do is sign up through our website at stoutmemorial.org/growthopportunities, it’s free.
Facebook has many ways for the small groups and Sunday school classes to stay connected with each other.
  • Sunday school teachers could livestream their lesson so everyone can still receive the lesson.  Viewers can even comment during the stream to ask questions.
  • Small groups could use messenger or facetime to do a group video chat so they can remain connected.
  • Stacy will be streaming the Lenten Study, Soul Reset, Wednesdays at 10 am on our Facebook Page.  Cindy and Stacy will be doing live discussion, you can send comments and questions.  Please join us.
There are many possibilities for the church to remain connected and thrive in these times of separation.  We don’t have to be in the same room, the same building, or even the same state to remain connected to God and each other, we just have to keep an open mind and an open heart and God will always find a way to fill each of us with his Holy Spirit.

Ways to Continue Your Giving

Post from Mar. 16, 2020
We have been getting questions about how to get your offerings to the church.  The bills do still have to be paid and we truly appreciate your concern.
  • Mail your offering through the mail.
  • You can drop your offering in the mail slot at the church (on the outside of the building between Cindy and Stacy's offices).
  • You can give through your banks online bill pay service, most banks offer it for free.
  • You can call the office and we will make arrangements to have it picked up.

Church Office Hours

Post from Mar. 15, 2020
This week (Mar. 15- Mar. 21) the church office will be close to the public. The Ministry Staff, Pastor Cindy and Stacy Hoover, will be in the office. However, we are hoping you will stay in and stay safe.
