Special Announcements from Pastor Cindy

Staying Connected

3/17/2020

Comments

When it’s hard for the church to come together in worship and fellowship with God and each other, it becomes very easy for us to become discouraged or feel cut off.  But, in today’s world, with all of the technology we have available, the church can continue to thrive.
Our church offers a powerful resource that some of you may not have begun utilizing, Rightnow Media.  Rightnow Media offers hundreds of bible study resources for adults, children, couples, college students, and everyone in between.  All you have to do is sign up through our website at stoutmemorial.org/growthopportunities, it’s free.
Facebook has many ways for the small groups and Sunday school classes to stay connected with each other.
  • Sunday school teachers could livestream their lesson so everyone can still receive the lesson.  Viewers can even comment during the stream to ask questions.
  • Small groups could use messenger or facetime to do a group video chat so they can remain connected.
  • Stacy will be streaming the Lenten Study, Soul Reset, Wednesdays at 10 am on our Facebook Page.  Cindy and Stacy will be doing live discussion, you can send comments and questions.  Please join us.
There are many possibilities for the church to remain connected and thrive in these times of separation.  We don’t have to be in the same room, the same building, or even the same state to remain connected to God and each other, we just have to keep an open mind and an open heart and God will always find a way to fill each of us with his Holy Spirit.
