Reflections on Finding Selah by Kristen Kill

Chapter 6
“I began to realize how the breath of selah didn’t just revive me, but changed me wholly.  In the psalms, as the pattern of prayer travels from pain to praise and back again, God Himself is there, changing the perspective of the heart.”
I cannot count the times I have needed a new perspective.  When I’ve been able to talk through a situation with a trusted friend, they are able to help me find new ways of seeing, thinking, reacting.  Talking through the situation with God is even more powerful.  Listening to the Word.  Listening to song.  Listening to the silence.  Listening… changes me.
