Opportunities for Spiritual Growth

Stout Memorial has many groups that meet to encourage our spiritual growth.  We have adult Sunday school classes that meet on Sunday mornings as well as three youth and children's classes. The Journey and K.I.D.S Life meet on Sundays as well.  On Wednesday morning there is a Bible study group that meets at 11:00 am and we have several small groups that meet through out the month.  If you would like more information just go to our "Growth Opportunities" page, you can find all of the information there.

Upcoming Youth Fundraisers

UPCOMING YOUTH FUNDRAISERS:
First, we'd like to thank our congregation, friends and family for supporting our youth group and fundraising efforts.  Because of your generosity, we have already raised (and paid out) nearly $8000.00 towards our trip!! We still have a little ways to go, though, and still need close to $5000.00. With that said, we've scheduled the following Fundraisers for May...
  • M&M's:  Beginning Sunday, May 12th, the youth, following both services, will be passing out containers of mini M&M's. We'd love for each family to take one and enjoy the candy! When the container is empty, we'd like you to fill it with quarters and turn it back in to any youth member. These containers will hold approximately $25 in quarters. Others in the past have also put cash or checks in them. We're just happy to take whatever you'd like to give!!
  • Cookbooks:  The "Taste of Stout Memorial" cookbooks will be available beginning Sunday, May 12th. The books are $12/book.  Thanks so much for all of your submissions! This is a great book with lots of delicious recipes!
  • Taco Lunch:  On Sunday, May 21st, following the 10:45 service, the youth will sponsor a Taco lunch. For a donation you'll receive taco's (hard &/or soft), taco salad and/or nachos with all of the fixin's, green beans, drink and cake. Join us for a fun time of great food and wonderful fellowship!
  • Buffalo Wild Wings Fundraiser:  On Wednesday, May 31st, BWW will be donating 15% of all food and non-alcoholic receipts, from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm.  For us to receive the 15%, you'll need to either present a ticket or show one on your phone. Once we've received these tickets we will post them on our Facebook page and have them in the bulletin as an insert. We would love for you to share the tickets with your friends and family and on your social media pages. There is the potential to make a substantial amount of money from this event!

Altar Flower Sponsors

Altar Flower Calendar
Through the generous donations of the congregation here at Stout Memorial, we have established a fund to place flowers on the altar each week in lieu of having members schedule and order each week.  The Altar Guild would like to invite everyone in the congregation to sponsor the flowers each week.  If you would like to sponsor the altar flowers, you may choose to do so in memory or in honor of someone, or and event in your life, such as a birthday, anniversary, or another event worthy of celebration and praise to God.  To see which Sunday’s have not been sponsored go to stoutmemorial.org/altarflowers to view a calendar and get more information and sign up to be a sponsor.
