United Methodist Men (UMM)
Stout Memorial’s United Methodist Men is a group of adult men.
The heritage of United Methodist Men is a most glorious one. The roots of Methodist Men are buried deep down in the heart of Methodism and find their source in the life and work of the founder of Methodism, John Wesley.
Our primary purpose is to declare the centrality of Christ in the lives of men and in all their relationships.
Meetings
Our UMM group meets the 2nd Saturday of each month at 8:30 a.m. in the church Fellowship Hall.
Special Projects
We support and advocate the Scouting program at Stout Memorial. We participate in the Society of St. Andrew Gleaning Project to distribute potatoes once a year to local food pantries. We also plan and participate in golf and other sports outings on the local, district and conference levels. Our men’s softball team plays in a church league during the summer.
